iOppose.org

A woman named Carol Conklin recently added my blog on Google+, so of course I looked a bit further to she who she was (since, you know, I've got few followers).  Apparently, she is the founder of an organization called iOppose.

What is iOppose?  It's a nonprofit based in Buffalo, NY with the mission of preventing sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Who could think of a better, more worthy cause? You can visit the organization's blog and website at iOppose.org to learn a bit more for yourself. If you check it out and like what you see and you purchase anything on Amazon.com, you could do the organization a huge favor by making your purchases through this link. When you purchase from Amazon using the link provided you will be donating to a worthy cause without spending an extra cent! Do iOppose a favor and bookmark the link so that whenever you decide to buy something from Amazon you can make sure you're also helping to raise money for a very worthy cause.

This cause means a great deal to me as a woman who was sexually harassed/assaulted by an older boy as a young child. This boy followed me all the way through high school. Not once did he ever recognize me again, but his face was burned in my memory and still is. If you can help by making your Amazon purchases via this link, it would be a huge favor to young children and teens that may be prevented from experiencing something horrible and unforgettable in their youth.

Thanks for all of your support- if you're a blogger, feel free to re-post this, it would totally make my day.
